Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring are gearing up to release their sophomore album Another Eternity – the followup to their acclaimed 2012 debut, Shrines. Having already shared ‘Push Pull’ – their first song in two years – the pair have just dropped the second glimpse of their anticipated upcoming LP.
‘Begin Again’ is one of Purity Ring’s more moodier cuts – starting off dark and slow with dramatic keys and Megan James’ high-pitched vocals whispering underwater. And then, it bursts – exploding with razor-sharp synths taking the track to dizzying new heights of emotional synth-pop.
