As the people of Mildura (and Australia) were still wiping the dust from their eyes after Triple J’s One Night Stand after-party, a Melbourne four-piece has been riding the hype and creating a very big buzz. White Summer moshed with thousands in Mildura at the after-party yet, unbeknown to them, they themselves were about to become apart of a rock craze sweeping the country. New track, ‘Smoke Screen’ just dropped and it’s rollicking rhythm and stomping beat lays itself down ready to be embraced by rock fans all over. Packed with attitude and building anticipation through pattering drums and distorted guitar licks it’s fair to say they’ve arrived, and in a big way. So wind down the window, turn it up a notch or two and feel badass on your drive home. Be sure to catch them as they head around the country on tour with the super hyped DMA’s as well as Stonefield, Ninjas and Cherry Dolls.
