It’s hardly been a year since they were last in the country, but US funk-rock legends Living Colour are set to return to Australia later this year for a series of headline dates.

First forming back in 1984, Living Colour took the world by storm thanks to their mind-blowing fusion of genres, with alternative rock and funk-metal being at the forefront of their sound. Bolstered by the presence of modern-day guitar legend Vernon Reid, tracks such as ‘Cult of Personality’ and ‘Love Rears Its Ugly Head’ saw the group become music legends the world over.

Sadly, by the mid-’90s, the group decided to take some time off, breaking up briefly before reuniting in 2000. Since then, Living Colour have recorded a further two albums, and toured Australia a few times, appearing at the Soundwave Festival in 2014, and hitting us up for a headline tour back in May of 2017.

Now, with their new album, Shade, under their belts, Living Colour are set to descend upon Australia again this December for a run of headline shows.

Performing in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, and Sydney, keen Aussie fans will get the chance to see one of the finest rock bands ever to come from New York City performing all their greatest hits, as well as some new favourites.

Tickets to these shows go on sale at 9am, on Wednesday, August 15th through Metropolis Touring.
