Pop Punk heroes and their Defend Pop Punk motto may have started out as a simple t-shirt design but along with the band it has now snowballed into a movement for honesty and integrity, reclaiming a lost DIY spirit. Demonstrating a punishing work ethic criss-crossing the globe and converting fans into die hard believers, their live shows are engraved into pop punk folklore with their unpretentious and passionate delivery. With the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Real Talk, critics were quick to proclaim that it would become a classic alongside Save’s The Day ‘Through Being Cool’ and Taking Back Sunday’s ‘Tell All Your Friends’.
Kickstarting their place in the scene in 2009, I Am Villain have been making a name for themselves with their dynamic infusion of pop-punk and melodic hardcore locally, as well as internationally. Releasing their debut EP ‘One Night, One Victim’ earlier this year they’ve been hitting the road relentlessly supporting a diverse range of acts including The Chariot (USA), Oh Sleeper (USA) and Stealing O’Neal winning over one fan at a time.
