‘Ghosts’ has marked a significant change for the indie-rockers, who, on this latest track, have collaborated with string players from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as well as contemporary composer David Paterson. Not your typical indie-rock single, ‘Ghosts’ combines a cacophony of Phillip Glass-like string motifs with square-wave synth and guitar atop the infectious robotic sounds of Bloc Party and the double-drumming of Radiohead circa King of Limbs.
Produced and directed by the talented team at Monster & Bear Productions, the captivating video clip for ‘Ghosts’ is a haunting, yet fitting accompaniment to the tuneful and structured single.
