There is definite bad blood between Mariah Carey and her sister Alison.

According to Page Six, Alison has filed a lawsuit against her for using, “her status as a public figure to attack her penniless sister, generating sensational headlines describing lurid claims to promote sales of her book.”

The book in question is Mariah’s memoir which she published last year: The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

The charges of the lawsuit claim, “intentional infliction of immense emotional distress caused by defendant’s heartless, vicious, vindictive, despicable and totally unnecessary public humiliation of defendant’s’ already profoundly damaged older sister.”

And naturally the lawsuit is no small amount, with Alison suing Mariah for a total of $1.25 million dollars.

As reported by the New York Postit seems that Mariah spared no detail in the book, telling all and hence spilling the tea.

The Post summarised “10 juicy highlights” from Mariah’s memoir, those highlights being incredibly intimate and very revealing facets of the singer’s personal life.
