Despite the sad news that a newly opened Brisbane live music venue has been forced to cancel many of its gigs due to “technical difficulties”, there is some positive news for the Queensland capital, they’ve gained a new live performance space.
The freshest establishment to swing open its doors to the public is Brisbane Brewing Co., a beautiful boutique craft beer brewery and bar that will also host live music, as The Weekend Edition writes.
Located at 124 Boundary Street, West End, the brand-spankin’ new space aims to foster everything local, from their drinks, food and of course, musicians too, writing the following on their website, “We proudly support local musicians, with regular performances being a feature of the Brisbane Brewing Co; creating an atmosphere perfect for Friday night drinks or a Sunday sesh.”
In addition to sipping on some of the finest beer and wine from Australia, the gorgeous new brewhouse also invites its patrons to both watch and interact with the brewing process, as well as touring through the brewery itself.
Brisbane Brewing Co. joins the ranks of many other new live music venues that have popped-up in Australia in the past few months, with the neighbouring The Brooklyn Standard and Sonny’s House of Blues opening in the Queensland capital, Geelong has secured a brand-spanking new performance space, Melbourne scored a live music venue that specialises in dumplings, not to mention Little & Olver and 24 Moons, whilst an Adelaide venue expanded to include a record store within the venue itself.
