Methyl Ethel have to be pretty chuffed about how their 2016 went down. Talk about going from strength to strength, they got put on high rotation on triple j, signed with taste-maker label 4AD, killed it on Like A Version, and toured all over the country.
Oh, and did we mentioned they also performed at festivals all over the world, including Roskilde, Latitude, End Of The Road, Outside Lands, Levitation Chicago, Laneway, Splendour in the Grass, SXSW, and Great Escape, in addition to their many sold-out headline shows.
Not ones to rest on their laurels, the trio have now announced a world tour set to take them zig-zagging around the globe in the new year. The lads will be taking on venues in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, and Canada.
