The most striking part of any of the band’s songs is the lead singer, Aleks Bryant’s voice, which sounds strikingly like Matt Berninger from The National. But while some music with unique vocals can be a bit gimmicky, Bryant’s smooth baritone compliments the rest of the music – which can stand alone – perfectly. So try and look past the incredibly sexy vocals, to the thoughtfully written lyrics and fantastic instrumentals.
