Just a month after their last release, Sydney’s seminal indie-rock trio Middle Kids have made plans to hit the road later this year.

Over the last few years, Middle Kids have set themselves apart as one of those groups who can’t help but kick goals at every turn. Having released their self-titled EP in early 2017, the band took just over a year to unleash their first full-length record, Lost Friends.

Before long, they took out triple j’s prestigious Australian album of the year award for their debut Lost Friends, earned an ARIA Award nomination for Best Rock Album, and scored critical acclaim at every turn.

However, Middle Kids aren’t the sort of group to sit back and take it easy, rather, they hit the studio between tours to knock out a bunch of new tracks, releasing their New Songs for Old Problems mini-album in late May.

Now, the trio are bringing their songs to the people, announcing an Aussie tour today.

Kicking off in Perth this November, Middle Kids are set to hit up Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, And Adelaide, performing their biggest headline shows to date, and showing eager crowds why they’re one of the biggest acts in Australia right now.

Tickets to the band’s upcoming shows go on sale at 11m local time on Friday, July 5th, with a Handsome Tours pre-sale kicking off at 9am on Thursday, July 4th.
