With an already impressive eclectic line up, Harvest festival is giving us a bunch of amazing sideshows to keep you entertained well after the festival is done and dusted. As if The Flaming Lips and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble sideshows weren’t enough, Harvest has announced Kevin Divine and This Town Needs Guns will be playing Sydney and Melbourne only.
Hailing from Brooklyn, NYC, Kevin Devine is a refreshingly direct, smart and heartfelt songwriter who has been honing his impressive craft over six consistently strong albums. Recalling widely praised writers like Elliot Smith and Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes).
Oxford, UK Indie rockers This Town Needs Guns were recently in Australia February this year, The Sydney Morning Herald describes the music of This Town Needs Guns as featuring “intricate pop guitar work, with a touch of jazz and Spanish influences.”
