When U2 had to pull out of headlining the Glastonbury Festival this weekend after Bono hurt his back, fans were left disappointed when the much hyped replacement headliners, Gorillaz, failed to ignite the site. However, one of the world’s greatest guitar players stood in to soften the blow. U2’s The Edge casually dropped by to play with Muse, as you do; and after their headlining set, Muse returned for an encore to play U2’s anthem ‘Where The Streets Have No Name,’ featuring The Edge on guitar. Front man Matt Bellamy told the massive crowd “I can’t believe it’s not fucking raining. I’ve been waiting 15 years for it to be sunny at Glastonbury. Shout out to Michael Eavis! And his daughter [Emily]!”
