They wear glasses, they have moustaches, they look amazing in a green sweater and pink polo top combination, and they pen metal songs whose lyrics consist mostly of direct quotes from the mouth of iconic Simpsons character Ned Flanders.
We speak, of course, of Okilly Dokilly, the Ned Flanders-themed metal band that took the internet by storm last year. “[We’re] not as fast as Bartcore, and a little cleaner than Krusty Punk,” Head Ned told Rip It Up. “Not as heavy as Homer J.ent- Nedal is a happy medium in the Simpscene.”
Well, Okilly Dokilly have now dropped an entire album’s worth of Nedal, entitled Howdilly Doodilly. The whole thing is incredible Flanders-esque, with song titles like ‘Godspeed Little Doodle’, ‘Nothing At All’, and Flanderdoodles’.
