There is a new Amy Winehouse documentary Amy Winehouse – Back to Black, set for release on November 2. The documentary will focus on the composition of her final studio album Back to Black. It will feature “previously unseen footage of Amy” and interview with collaborators Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.
In 2015, director Asif Kapadia released his Oscar-winning documentary Amy. Where Amy focused predominately on Amy’s private life, Back to Black will highlight her extraordinary musicianship.
There will also be a bonus feature, An Intimate Evening in London, which is compromised of footage from an intimate performance Amy gave at Riverside Studios in West London on February 10, 2008. The set was performed in front of an intimate selection of friends, family and music industry figures. It took place on the same night Winehouse won five Grammy awards.
