Johnny Cash is to become the latest artist to release new songs from beyond the grave, with a new compilation set for release next month to feature previously unreleased material.

Entitled Bootlegs 2: From Memphis to Hollywood the two CD set will feature 11 demos and seven outtakes from his time at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis.

It’ll also include non-album singles, b-sides and outtakes from his time as a Columbia Records artist from 1959 – 1968.It’s due out in the US at the end of February, although there’s no word on an Aussie release date yet.
