Two seminal eighties acts will join forces this September on a co-headlining tour across North America. Influential synth-pop torch-bearers New Order and Pet Shop Boys will kick off the Unity Tour on September 5th in Toronto.

This momentous tour marks the first time these two influential acts have toured together. In the late 80s, New Order’s Bernard Sumner and former-The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr formed the duo Electronic, whose debut single ‘Getting Away With It’ featured Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant.

New Order’s last record, live album ∑(No,12k,Lg,17Mif) New Order + Liam Gillick: So it goes.., was released last year. Whilst Pet Shop Boys fourteenth studio album Hotspot arrived last month.
