Influential post-punk act New Order have shared a rare, early performance of their debut single ‘Ceremony’. To celebrate the release of their deluxe box set. The Movement box set is set for release on April 5th. It will contain the bands’ first record on vinyl and CD, unreleased material, a live DVD and a hardcover book.

The performance was filmed on Feb. 6, 1981 at CoManCHE Student Union – less than a year after the death of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. As COS notes, the track was written by Curtis just before his untimely death.
