Allday Australian Tour 2013 Announced
Fresh from signing with Illy’s label OneTwo and dropping his latest mixtape Soon I’ll Be in Cali 2 to massive online buzz, the prolific slacker hop artist Allday is embarking on a national tour. Having forgone a pro basketball career to pursue music, 2013 has been epic. Allday’s first single ‘So Good’ scored #91 in the triple j Hottest 100, and amazing crowds flocked to his sets at festivals including Big Day Out, Pushover, StKilda Festival, Groovin’ The Moo Bunbury, Come Together and Sprung. Meanwhile his EP Loners Are Cool smashed in at #18 in the ARIA Charts, snared #1 on the iTunes hip hop chart, and #1 on the AIR Charts, all helping to secure tours with Eminem’s protégé Yelawolf and Illy. This November Allday is set to play shows right around the country for the It Ain’t Easy Being Steezy National Tour.

Foxes To Dazzle Melbourne & Sydney Stages
One of this year’s brightest stars, Foxes, is headed to Melbourne and Sydney for her very first Australian performances this November, courtesy of The Frontier Touring Company and I Oh You. First posted a little over a year ago, Foxes’ ‘Youth’ (watch the clip here), with its soaring vocals and anthemic chorus, captured the imagination of bloggers and music fans and set Foxes on a trajectory for international success. Foxes’ international story continues to build in the US where ‘Clarity’, her collaboration with Zedd has just broken into the Billboard top 10 and is nominated for an MTV VMA. She is also currently top 15 in the UK singles chart with Rudimental’s single ‘Right Here’ and features on ‘Just One Yesterday’ from Fall Out Boy’s recent US #1 album Save Rock And Roll. Following the release of her own ‘Youth’ single, next came the Sony released Warrior EP whose lead tracks ‘Warrior’ and ‘White Coats’ had tastemakers on both sides of the Atlantic hot under the collar. ‘Echo’ – her first single for Sony Music – cashed in on that potential, leading to a spot on the coveted iTunes New Artists 2013 ones to watch list. With support from Cosmo’s Midnight, with Can’t Say DJs (Melbourne) and Stoney Roads DJs (Sydney), Foxes two November shows will be a chance to catch her before she blows up into bigger venues.

Cave Australian Tour 2013 Announced
Chicago psych-rockers Cave bring their energetic, instrumental grooves to Australia for the first time this December. Formed in 2006, Cave have become masters of slow-burning, relentless build-ups of sound that climax in euphoric releases of hypnotic rhythms. The quartet have the uncanny ability to transport the listener from the comfort of bright, uplifting keyboard melodies and head-nodding beats, to high-energy, cacophonous jams.
The band’s hypnotic third album, Neverendless, released in November 2011, continues in this vein and the band are set to carve a deeper, chaotic niche with their fourth record Threace (released 18th October in Australia via Twelve Suns/Rocket Distribution). Threace is a purely instrumental record that sees the band dabbling in jazz-inflected rhythms while building on their reputation as masters of driving, exotic meditations and crescendos that crash like tidal waves. Cave bring their electrifying live show to our shores for the very first time this December, with shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The Cribs Announce Supports For 10th Anniversary Australian Tour
The Cribs are headed to Australia for a tour to celebrate the band’s 10 year anniversary this month. The Jarman siblings – twin brothers Ryan and Gary Jarman and younger brother Ross – have spanned a decade and a career that spans five album releases, extensive touring, major festival appearances, and a strong DIY aesthetic and approach to music. Having graced Australian shores with appearances at Wisemens Ferry Playground Weekender and Pyramid Festival (more recently), The Cribs will embark on a 5-date national club tour, which will include their first ever visit to Newcastle, along with shows at Sydney’s Beresford, Brisbane’s The Zoo, Melbourne’s Ding Dong Lounge and Perth’s Rosemount.
