Want to live like a rock star? Now you literally can, with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl listing his Californian beachfront home for sale for the one time only price of $3.25 million reports Alan Cross.
The Grammy award winning musician and all around nice guy has owned the house for about seven years, purchasing it in 2006 for a cool $3.78 million, meaning you could save over $500,000. Now that’s rock n roll.
The house is located in the suburb of Oxnard in California, a short drive north from Malibu, home of the rich and famous. With the median home value at $317,000 compared with Malibu’s median value of $1.92 million, Oxnard it is also a lot quieter and private, perfect if you’re a rock star looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
The house was built in 2005,and features more than 3,088 sq ft of living space with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Typical of many beachfront properties, the home has an indoor-outdoor vibe with huge window-filled living spaces, many of which open out to patios and the second-floor deck.

Speaking of the Foo Fighters, Grohl’s primary music concern has also begun work on the follow-up to 2011′s Wasting Light, and speaking to Billboard, Grohl reveals he has “a crazy idea of what I want to do with the next record and how we record it. It’s not conventional. It won’t be a conventional record.”
It follows on from previous comments about the album, with Grohl remarking: “We know exactly what’s coming next. We have really awesome, big plans for the next album… I have the music for the next record and we’re going to start working on it once we finish doing all this stuff.”
It’s amazing he’s found time to do anything Foos-related considering his commitments to promoting his documentary Sound City: Real to Reel, which focuses on LA’s Sound City studio and the bands and artists who have recorded there over the years
