Ho hum, another week, another arrest for Pete Doherty.

However, this time it’s a bit more serious than the usual drug possession charges he seems so adept at wriggling out of. This time he’s been charged with supplying the drugs that led to the overdose death of Robin Whitehead, a filmmaker and heiress.

Whitehead, who had been making a documentary about Babyshambles, was the great niece of the late Billionaire James Goldsmith, father of Imran Khan’s wife Jemima. Pete’s out on bail again, and protesting his innocence as usual.
