Cockatoo Island Film Festival and The Keystone Group have partnered to present an unprecedented music experience on historic Cockatoo Island.

The Inaugural Cockatoo Island Film Festival will serve up two unique stylized stages featuring the rhythm of class acts from Australia and across the globe including Arrested Development,Bluejuice, Jinja Safari and Matt Corby.

Two pop-up venues will turn the island into Sydney’s ultimate entertainment destination across the last weekend of October.

Adding an entire new dimension to the weekend’s festivities, the events are an amazing opportunity to experience one of Sydney’s most spectacular harbourside venues.

Set outdoors and facing the Harbour Bridge, the main stage will host an outstanding array of live music and DJs from 6-10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights during the festival.

Hip hop all stars Arrested Development will kick off the venue on Thursday night in a very special 20th Anniversary tour show. Well known for iconic hits like Mr. Wendell and People Everyday the American supergroup will be followed up on Friday night by local favourites Bluejuice and explosive live act Jinja Safari. Island Life will culminate in a massive Saturday night event with man of the moment Matt Corby.
