We recently announced that a new underage music festival would be taking place in Brisbane.

Now, the inaugural Live It Up 18 and under music festival has unveiled its full lineup today with some great local and national artists joining The Amity Affliction, Chance Waters, Pez, The Getaway Plan and more on April 13, the last weekend of the Easter school holidays.

The lineup is joined by triple j favourites Dune Rats and The Griswolds along with Brisbane locals Pigeon, Sheppard and His Merry Men.

Live It Up is also on the hunt for Brisbane’s best 18 and under bands and DJs to open the festival.

“Brisbane is full of talent, particularly young people and it’s a rare opportunity for them to get a gig and show fans what they can do,” said festival organiser Zanda Strofield.

“We’re committed not only to giving the best music event of the year for Brisbane’s 18 and unders, but also to support them and shine a light on what we have here in our backyard.”

Early bird tickets have been extended till the end of February with ten of the hottest bands for forty bucks making it the best value ticket in town.

“18 and under shows are such an important part of what we do. An event like LIVE IT UP is an awesome addition to Brisbane’s calendar because it gives our younger fans an opportunity to get out and party with us!” said The Amity Affliction’s Ahren Stringer.

The drug and alcohol free event will provide a real festival experience like no other in Brisbane – without the tools.
