After years of abusive emails and jeers, from fans and friends 28 Days have finally decided to tour their #1 album Upstyledown! With unique, melodic intertwined hardcore sensibilities Upstylyedown was the bands second studio album, and released in 2000. The record was massive and debuted at No. 1 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and went to achieve platinum status.
With hit tracks ‘Sucker’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Rip It Up’ & ‘Song For Jasmine’, this solidified the 28 Days on the Aussie music scene as they had a bona fide string of radio hits, which saw them grow from their beginnings as a Melbourne pub band to a household name.
Touring constantly and playing the big festivals around Australia, including Livid, Homebake, Big Day Out, Falls, Push and on and on – they came, you saw and now everyone knew that the Melbourne crew could kick it live as well as on the charts.
New lease, reinvigorated – whichever way you see it – 28 Days are all about the music. Looking forward to getting back on the road & visiting the faithful 28 Days are pleased to announce the Upstyledown Tour this April and May.
Come and see how it should be done… the 28 Days way with passion and raw energy. Join Jay Dunne (vocals), Simon Hepburn (guitar), Damian Gardiner (bass), Jedi Master Jay (turntables) and Dan Kerby (drums) as they storm the nation, smashing venues & doing what they do best….
