After announcing their much anticipated tour last week, Australian synth-pop lovers spoke loudly of their affections for Chvrches this morning, when their first ever Sydney show on Friday 2nd August sold out.

After going on sale at 9am, tickets for the Sydney performance flew out the door, with Melbourne not far behind. So huge was the demand that a second show was immediately confirmed for Sydney to take place on Saturday 3rd August at Oxford Art Factory. Tickets on sale now!

Hotly tipped as one of the ‘Bands to Watch’ in 2013, Glaswegian synth-pop trio  Chvrches have not disappointed so far and now that they’ve been rumoured for Splendour In The Grass alongside The National, James Blake, and Polyphonic Spree, it seems only natural that the buzz surrounding them is peaking!

With a roaring success at SXSW last month, they’ve just last week announced they’ll be supporting quintessential electro-pop icons, Depeche Mode, on their stadium tour of Europe later this year. Yes that’s right. Depeche Mode. Stadiums. Makes sense then that their Australian shows would be the hottest ticket in town.
