Southbound 2014 Lineup Announced

The Southbound 2014 lineup has been announced and following on from the Falls Festival 2013 lineup dropping this morning, the Western Australian event has many of that event’s big name acts heading West to play the January event.

This year Southbound celebrates its 10th anniversary and to help throw an extra special birthday bash, Sunset Events have roped in a massive list of local and international acts headed to Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton on the 3rd and 4th of January 2013.

Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, The Roots, MGMT, The Wombats, !!! (chk chk chk), Solange, London Grammar, Hanni El Khatib, Bombino and more are all making the trip over from Falls Fetival.

There’s also legendary singer-songwriter Neil Finn, along with The Cat Empire, Big Scary, Chet Faker, Hermitude, Gossling, Flight Facilities, The Preaturees, Rüfüs, and a special hometown set from Pond.

There are more announcements to come from Sunset Events, including more locals and comedy acts. “We’re still working on a handful of other amazing artists to join this batch of red hot names and we’ll be keeping you up to date over the coming weeks,” reads a statement from organisers.

Tickets for Southbound 2014 are $129 (+ b/f) for a one-day festival tickets, or $185 (+ b/f) for a two-day pass, while camping is an additional $25. Tickets go on sale on Monday 2nd September (WA Time) via Moshtix.
