The Little Scout Australian Tour 2013 has been announced hot on the heels of the band releasing their excellent second album Are You Life.
With album number two hot off the press and their Hungry Kids of Hungary tour dates done and dusted, the Brisbane five-piece are excited to announce the dates for a national headline tour to launch their album across Australia.
Released on Friday 6th Sept through MGM, the praise for Are You Life has already started rolling out, with our Tone Deaf reviewer awarding an 8/10 and calling the record “an outstanding effort – an LP that will last beyond Spring’s season and long into the lingering wave of Summer’s burn.”
Mixed by Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Deap Vally, The Mars Volta) and mastered by Joe LaPorta of Sterling Sound in New York, Are You Life is a stunning work of dense arrangements, layered distortion and striking vocal melodies; all which accounts for a stunning live show of great songs and greater dexterity.
To coincide with the release of Are You Life, the band have also just released the accompanying music video to their much loved single ‘March Over To Me’ (which you can view below).
