Stereosonic 2013, Australia’s biggest electronic music and dance festival, has already made its epic presence known this year with its huge lineup of electronic artists, DJs, and EDM Masters, and now it gets even bigger.
Expanding to two days for each of its five appearances in capital cities around the country for its 2013 edition, now an enormous list of over 300 acts has been added to the Stereosonic 2013 lineup with the addition of local acts to the bill, with each leg getting a swag of new artists added to bulk out the new look but test vibe of Stereosonic 2013.
Showcasing leading and emerging Australian talent, there’s a huge mix that runs the gamut from Australian electro identities, to festival first timers, through to the illustrious winners of the Your Shot DJ competition, all who will be representing Australia alongside some of the world’s premier acts on the Steresonic 2013 bill, which features David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Armin Van Buuren.
“Stereosonic prides itself on supporting up and coming local artists,” says Stereosonic promoter and Touring Director, Simon Coyle, who is thrilled with the 300+ additions to the lineup. “There is an incredible explosion of Australian talent at the moment. As the premier Australian electronic festival, it is our pleasure to announce such a strong local presence at the festival.”
Along with the big list of electronic acts understandably comes a bigger price tag, with ticket prices for the two-day Stereosonic 2013 set at $199.95 (+b/f), and with no one-day passes or camping available for the event, its an all-or-nothing event. But tickets are still available from Ticketmaster Australia, while organisers have previously warned against punters purchasing through unofficial channels from potential scalpers or frauds.
