Following first and second album singles – ‘Dirty Hercules’ and ‘Around’ respectively  off Ngaiire’s debut album Lamentations which is out today through Wantok / Planet.

“I could do without pain and heartache as much as the next person but I also excel in it —and love —and am fascinated with where it can take me mentally. As it may be for a lot of artists, it is often when I am at my best creatively. There is [on the LP] imagery surrounding elements of war [‘Count To Ten’, ‘Around’, ‘Dirty Hercules], death [‘Fireflies’, ‘ABCD’] and emotional and mental battles with myself and people I love [‘Uranus’, ‘Ordinary’, ‘Rabbit Hole’, ‘Novacaine’]”, Says Ngaiire.
