One day after the release of the headline-grabbing ‘The Invitation’, Nick Cannon has gone in on Eminem once again, releasing his latest diss track, ‘Pray For Him’.

Yesterday, hip-hop fans found themselves with their attention on the long-feuding pair of Nick Cannon and Eminem, with the latter releasing a diss track directed at the hip-hop icon.

While their feud can be traced back to 2009 when Eminem took shots at Cannon’s then-wife Mariah Carey, recent years have seen the war of words continue, with Em again mentioning the fact he once had a relationship with the ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ singer during a guest verse on Fat Joe’s ‘Lord Above’.

Dishing up ‘The Invitation’ yesterday, Cannon undoubtedly turned a few heads thanks to his rhymes, even taking to Twitter to claim that Eminem’s lawyers had been in contact with him about a line that makes inflammatory claims about the rapper.

Now, it appears as though Cannon is ready for round two, releasing ‘Pray For Him’ overnight.

Built around an instrumental of Jay-Z’s Eminem-featuring ‘Renegade’, the Nick Cannon recruited Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips, Prince Eazy, and Conceited for this new tune, and sees lines that claim Eminem is far too removed from his glory days.

He made the original music that your fans used to cherish/Now you’re debated, disputed, hated/And viewed in America as a motherfuckin’ drug addict/You’ll never be a legend” Cannon spits, before referencing Eminem’s beef with Machine Gun Kelly by noting “I bet you never thought the kill shot will come from the cannon“.

Undoubtedly, one of the most notable lines in the track comes from Prince Eazy, who claims that “God should’ve took Em’ and just let us keep Juice WRLD“, referencing the 21-year-old rapper who passed away only two days ago.

While Eminem is yet to respond to Nick Cannon’s latest track, we can only begin to imagine just how devastating his musical comeback is set to be.
