Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced their upcoming Live God album, a comprehensive documentation of their recent arena tour supporting their critically acclaimed Wild God LP.

The live album captures the band’s electrifying performances from their expansive tour, showcasing both recent material and beloved classics.

Set for release on December 5th, the Live God album will be available as a 2LP or 2CD set, featuring performances of tracks from 2024’s Wild God including “Joy”, “Frogs”, and “Cinnamon Horses”. The collection also includes timeless Cave classics such as “Red Right Hand”, “Into My Arms”, and “O Children”, demonstrating the band’s vast catalogue spanning decades.

The Live God album marks a significant moment for the band, particularly as it features Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass, who joined the touring lineup for this extensive run. This collaboration has added a distinctive element to the band’s live sound, contributing to what many consider one of their most powerful touring periods.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have already shared the first single from the Live God album, a captivating rendition of Wild God‘s title track recorded during a Paris concert. Listen below.

Rolling Stone‘s review of the Brooklyn show in April highlighted Cave’s evolution as an arena performer, noting: “Cave proved to a U.S. audience what Europe has known for decades: that he — rock’s gothic poet laureate, master of emotional intimacy, and, as a side hustle, introspective advice columnist — is indeed an arena rocker.”

The Wild God tour represented a marked shift for Cave and the band, with critics noting a palpable sense of joy permeating the performances.

Cave’s Wild God tour will continue well into 2026, with confirmed dates across Australia in January before returning to Europe for another extensive leg beginning June 10th in Dublin, Ireland. The European tour is currently scheduled to conclude on August 28th in Paris.
