We’re not sure just what’s caused this apparent grassroots movement, but there’s been something of a push lately to convert kids around the world into Nick Cave fans. We’re not complaining or anything, the earlier they get started the better, we say.

With some legend having already turned the lyrics of Cave’s timeless Bad Seeds tune ‘Red Right Hand’ into a Dr Seuss-style children’s book, it’s now time to enter the toy market and the great minds and Plasticgod have gone ahead and provided.

The company have previously made dolls of Tupac and Bjork and their latest series is comprised of six mini-Nick Caves, each one styled after one of the great bard’s songs, including ‘Red Right Hand, ‘Tupelo’, and ‘Into My Arms’.

According to Stereogum, the dolls will debut during this year’s Comic Con in San Diego and will run you $40 apiece. Only 200 of each toy will be made, so consider them a collector’s item. If it’s always been your dream to hold a glow-in-the-dark Nick Cave (‘Babe You Turn Me On’) in your hands, we suggest booking your flights now.
