It’s crystal clear that Brisbane loves a bit of Northlane. Not long after the home-ground heroes released their Australian tour dates, the River City gobbled up all the tickets they could, and yet they still want more.

Today, Northlane have announced a second Brisbane show to meet the city’s endless hunger for huge chuggy riffs, explosive beats, guttural growls and sweet, sweet cleans.

That the band needed to add more shows to their tour is testament to their current course of world domination. Currently Stateside, Northlane are enjoying more and more ‘sold-out’ signs, declaring ‘allocation exhausted’ seemingly every other day.

“We’re halfway through our North American shows, our first return to the USA in 4 years and it feels like a dream come true.” says guitarist Josh Smith. “We were so happy to be able to add a second Brisbane date as so many missed out, we cannot wait to return to home shores and give you the Alien experience.”

Northlane dropped their brand-new album Alien earlier in the month, a release that was met with thunderous applause from even the sternest of progressive heavy music fans. Upon release, the album made its way to the pointy end of multiple charts both here and abroad.

Alien is braced to become talismanic not just to the scene, but to the greater community given its raw and authentic dissection of trauma and struggle, and the light that’s at the end of the tunnel for both.

Northlane kick off their Australian tour dates in October, once they’ve finished galavanting across the globe, and will be joined by Counterparts, Silent Planet and Void Of Vision.

With three sold-out shows, and only so many days in the calendar, we put purchasing your tickets in the ‘stop whatever you’re doing right now and buy them’ category.
