Save the date: NYE In The Park has locked in its 2019 return

It’s now August, which means in a week or so it’ll be September and then bam, suddenly it’s December. But don’t fret, everything is under control. Today, organisers behind Sydney’s beloved NYE bash, NYE In The Park have locked in the events return, effectively taking all the pain out of planning how you and yours will be welcoming in the new year.

Taking place in Camperdown’s Victoria Park, NYE In The Park has developed somewhat of a habit of organising awesome end of year events.

Over the past two years, the festival has featured artists such as The Presets, The Jungle Giants, Hayden James, Vera Blue, Hot Dub Time Machine, and many more. As such, even the sternest of NYE Scrooge McDucks struggle to “bah humbug” at this event.

Speaking on their intentions for the festivals third instalment, organisers have stated, “New Year’s in Sydney has always been overcrowded, overpriced and ultimately, under whelming, and we want to change that.

“The last two years offered a hugely fun, highly affordable, drama-free night out – with ample space to dance, more bars and toilets than you can poke a stick at, a wide selection of great, gourmet street food, and an amazing line-up of music.”

The central location makes it an attractive proposition for those who wish to get amongst it for NYE this year. While the music line up is yet to be announced, soon-to-be ticket holders can expect a plethora of attractions and stalls catering some seriously gourmet eats and drinks.

NYE In The Park will take you right up the big countdown with their own firework display happening right there at the park.

The event raises serious questions as to why the hell you’d venture into the madness of the CBD when you can enjoy your own spectacle right there in the Inner West.
