Olivia Colman has always been a great and respected actress but in the last few years, she’s really solidified herself as one of Britain’s best comic and dramatic actors doing it.
The Oscar winner who has projects like The Favourite, Fleabag, The Crown and, if you’re a Mitchell & Webb tragic, Peep Show, to her name, has taken on music in amongst it all. Colman is one of a list of 11 names who have taken part in a new charity album curated by The BBC, entitled Got It Covered.
The album was recorded over sessions at RAK and Abbey Road Studios, produced by Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, Miles Kane) and Jonathan Quarmby (Lewis Capaldi, Alex The Astronaut).
For Got It Covered, Colman’s taking on Portishead’s ‘Glory Box’ from Dummy, which celebrated 25 years in 2019.
