Ozzy Osbourne may be the only artist in history that is able to tie in the mythos of his career with the coronavirus pandemic bat theory, and that is exactly what he did. The Prince of Darkness is flogging coronavirus-themed merchandise, and god it’s good.

Osbourne is selling a long-sleeve t-shirt and matching face mask with the phrase “Fuck Coronavirus”, emblazoned with the artwork of a bat sporting a face mask.

The merch is obviously an allusion to Ozzy’s most infamous antic, that saw the metal icon bite the head off a bat during a 1982 show in Des Moines, Iowa. But you didn’t need me to spell that out for you.

If you’re umming and ahhing about whether or not to cop this incredible drop, umm and ahh no more — for the next three days over, the face mask will come free with the purchase of the t-shirt. This is (hopefully) the only moment in our lifetime where a global pandemic will be immortalised in merchandise, so why not remember it whilst also practising hygiene.

Though the website warns that unfortunately “these masks are not medical grade and are not meant to take the place of the N95 masks.” But you could pimp your N95 and pop it over. Check out the masks below, and purchase one for yourself here.

Ozzy Osbourne Coronavirus Merch

Earlier this month, Osbourne announced that he will be donating a portion of the revenue from merch sales to The Michael J. Fox Foundation in light of the rockers recent diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.

Back in January, the iconic Prince of Darkness detailed the health issues that he had been afflicted by, revealing he has Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative neurological condition which can cause tremors in the hands and affect motor skills.

The English musician took to Twitter to reveal that he was planning to help out this month, as April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month. He noted that several items of exclusive past-tour merch were up for sale on his eBay site, and “10% of all sales are going to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.”
