5 band names you wish you’d thought of:

  1. Psychedelic Porn Crumpets
  2. The Strokes
  3. Jet
  4. Led Zeppelin
  5. Powderfinger

Top 5 cities to play:

  1. New York, the abundance of insane musicians and live music in this city places it on the bucket list of places to play.
  2. London, As a band we all share a love for brit rock so London is a must. Also love the architecture of some of the old venues, such as Royal Albert Hall, and we would love to rock out in a place like that.
  3. Wollongong, this city is the place where we began as a band playing gigs. The amazing RAD bar (Rest in Peace) gave us our first show I a tiny room packed with all our best mates. Whenever we play a show in Wollongong there is always such a fun crew and nothing beats having good sing-alongs with your mates.
  4. Hollywood, The Hollywood Bowl has a massive place on our bucket list for places to play. We have all watched stacks of live sets from bands like The Doors and The Beatles at this venue, and it is a huge dream to play there.
  5. Melbourne, we have played quite a few shows down in Melbourne, and it just seems like we always have so much fun when we are down there. The combination of awesome crowds, good nightlife, and a unique culture all combine to make Melbourne an epic place to get to.

5 songs you’d sit in the car to listen to in full after arriving at your destination

  1. ‘My Happiness’ – Powderfinger
  2. ‘Here Comes The Sun’ – The Beatles
  3. ‘Tuna In The Brine’ – Silverchair
  4. ‘Woman’ – Wolfmother
  5. ‘Whole Lotta Love’ – Led Zeppelin

Top 5 on-stage stunts you wish you could pull off

  1. Exploding Drum Kit- Just like Keith Moon from The Who. If only we had numerous drum kits and fireworks.
  2. The splits- would love to be able to drop into the splits like James Brown then bounce straight back up and keep on singing. Unfortunately, none of us has much flexibility.
  3. On stage backflip. Inspired by Britney Spears. We are working on this one, Jack aims to have it down pat by the end of 2019.
  4. Set fire to a guitar- We are just waiting for a venue who are willing and who have excellent fire safety procedures
  5. Ride in on horses- We have had a bit of a dream for a little while about riding into a gig all on horseback. Would be great to extend this dream into one where we arrive on stage on horseback, dismount and then begin to play. Keep your eyes peeled at our next shows!

Top 5 artists whose stage presence you envy

  1. Foo Fighters– Dave Grohl is phenomenal on stage. He is constantly moving around, often running, and still just belting it out at the top of his voice. This combined with the passion of Taylor Hawkins on the drums always manages to get the crowd in the palm of their hand
  2. Catfish and the Bottlemen- The lead singer Van McCann has such a cool swagger to the way he gets around a stage and such high explosive energy. Although this band doesn’t chat heaps to the crowd, the combination of what they do say and how the set builds creates such high-intensity energy which sucks you in.
  3. Led Zeppelin- Love how each member of this band stands out in their own right and feel the music and the instrument they are playing. This combination draws the crowd in and makes them go nuts. Also  Something cool about a frontman who has nothing but a mic and a whole lot of energy.
  4. Red Hot Chilli Peppers- How this band creates a show of their live set is insane. The little interludes and preludes in between and before songs build such a cool tension and make the crowd explode. Also, Flea is something else in terms of stage presence.
  5. Beyonce- You must see before you die. 10/10 rollercoaster of emotion.
