Metalcore legends Parkway Drive premiered their new documentary in cinemas around Australia in January, but never fear if you missed it, the band has now announced that Viva The Underdogs will soon be available to stream.
Viva The Underdogs takes a closer look at the band’s 15+ years on the Aussie music scene, following their journey to becoming one of the country’s biggest musical exports.
The feature-length doco screened on YouTube last weekend, but now the band has revealed it will be available to stream on Amazon, iTunes, Google and Vevo from Friday, April 24th.
To celebrate the doco’s impending arrival on streaming services, Parkway Drive have released an extended version of the trailer.

“We have always taken pride in doing things our way,” said Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall of the doco. “For over 15 years we have stayed true to ourselves in a world of extremes.
“We are not the story of shooting star super stardom, we are not the overnight breakout success, we will never be viral and we sure as hell won’t break the internet. But we have a vision, and we have lived for it, worked for it, bled for it, grown for it and broken for it.
“We have sacrificed everything and compromised nothing. This is an honest insight into what it takes to survive as the underdogs. Thank you for being part of the story.”

At this stage, Parkway Drive are still scheduled to tour Australia in June, with support coming from Every Time I Die and Hatebreed. It’s highly likely that these dates will be postponed due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions, so stay tuned to Tone Deaf or Parkway Drive’s official website for updates.
