Paul McCartney has just staged one of the most high-profile collaborations of all-time, teaming up with Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood at his recent London show.

Ask anyone who saw Paul McCartney during last year’s Australian tour, and they’ll tell you that seeing a musical legend like Sir Paul is indescribable. Understandably, seeing the icon team up with two more of music’s biggest names would be something that you’d never forget.

On Sunday night, Paul McCartney took to London’s O2 Arena to perform one of the biggest shows of the year. Featuring a massive 40-song set, it wasn’t just the eclectic setlist that had fans talking, but some of the high-profile audience members.

Taking to social media, fans noted that McCartney’s former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr was in the audience for the show, along with The Who’s Roger Daltrey.

However, things got even more exciting when Stella McCartney posted an image to Instagram that featured her father, Starr, actress Emma Thompson, and The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood.

Taking place almost 50 years after the recording of the single, the impromptu supergroup delivered their version of the track to what was undoubtedly some of the evening’s loudest applause.
