With 2013 just about knocking on the door, we’ve seen a number of the New Year’s Eve music festivals rolling out their schedules to help those lucky enough with tickets to plan how to see off 2012, from the likes of Pyramid Rock over in Philip Island, to the Falls Festival in both Lorne and Marion Bay.
Now it’s time for those heading to the picturesque Glenworth Valley to grab the highlighter and plot their musical attack, with organisers from the Peats Ridge Festival releasing the playing times for the many bands that will be gracing the many stages, the various Eco Living workshops, the Childrens Festival timetable of activities; as well as the all-important map to navigate it all.
The most important part though is probably the three day’s worth of music on offer, from headliners, The John Butter Trio, to Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, The Black Seeds, as well as the likes of Luke Slater and Half Moon Run. Plus, considering the late addition of nearly 100 new bands to the already impressive bill, that timetable is going to come in handy.
Though the night time slots are filled with the best local and international acts on offer, from Tijuana Cartel, The Herd, Friendly Fires (DJ set), Tokyo Denmark Sweden, and 65DaysofStatic; the days will be bursting with sonic goodness as well. So make sure you set up camp quick to catch Tigertown, The Preatures, Deep Sea Arcade, The Cairos, Battleships, Kaki King, Hey Geronimo, Winter People – the list goes on.
The Glenworth Valley – located just one hour north of Sydney – will be lit up with 10 stages, over 200 acts, and countless pop-up sites to help welcome in 2013, and as is true to Peats Ridge Festival tradition, there’s a wealth of extra-curricular activities on offer to help enliven the ‘Sustainable Arts’ part of the festival’s commitment to bringing people anad artists together in celebration.
You can view the full timetabling below (click the image for a larger version) – have a peek, print it off, laminate it up – and start getting excited for what will be another excellent showing of Peats Ridge Sustainable Arts And Music Festival for 2012.
