Hailing from Sydney’s southern beaches, Strangers formed in 2010 after the members’ previous groups went their separate ways.

What they created was a down to earth band, that contains no egos and no rockstars.

After capturing the nation’s attention with their Triple J singles ‘Red Brick’ and ‘Bred For Breeding’, the band got together with acclaimed producer Tom Larkin (Shihad, Calling All Cars, The Getaway Plan) to create an infectious record that perfectly captures the band’s modern rock ‘n’ roll  attitude.

Each track offers one awesome guitar riff after another, even in their slower tracks such as ‘Far Too Late’.

The only downfall on the album may be ‘Searching The Low’. One of the more sombre songs on the record, it does not seem to have much structure to it, but rather feels like a continuous low hum of guitar and vocals.

Considering it’s the only song with no amazing guitar assaults at any point, it seems to be an odd-ball on a record full of otherwise stellar pieces.

With the closing number ‘Long Snake Moon’ signing off the record with more classic rock riffs, expect to hear more from this upcoming Aussie band in the not too distant future.
