Pete Wentz is mainly known for formerly being one half of hit duo Ashley and Pete, and also for his flagrant upstaging of singer Patrick Stump in Fall Out Boy.

Now he has taken a sidestep of sorts, being cast as a gun-toting punk in Escape Plan 2, according to a tweet from director Steven Miller. Miller shared a photo of the film’s cast, in which Wentz is visible – and hashtagged for extra emphasis.

As if that wasn’t enough, Miller also shared a shot of Wentz packing some heavy artillery. Feel free to insert your own dick-pic joke here.

As for Fall Out Boy, they have an album due September, of which Stump said, “I want to try to invent something, because life’s too short.”
