Pornhub is at it again, announcing the first musical act who will be appearing at the 2019 edition of their annual awards.

Back in 2018, the world of music and pornography came together (no pun intended) in a way that many could never have expected. Revealing that they would be holding their first-ever awards that year, the site also revealed that Kanye West was tapped as the co-creative director.

In addition to premiering the Spike Jonze-directed video for ‘I Love It’ at the awards, West also created his own line of merch, the award statues, and even styled the presenters himself.

Needless to say, it was not exactly the sort of sleazy, backroom affair that most would associate with an award ceremony from a pornographic website.

Now, the Pornhub awards are returning for a second year, and this time, they’ll feature Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny as the headline act, Billboard reports.

“Last year, we made history and we’re building on that momentum,” Corey Price, Pornhub’s Vice President of Operations, explained in a statement.

“We are excited to again honor the biggest and brightest stars in the adult entertainment industry, based on the viewing patterns of over 120 million people who visit Pornhub daily. No other awards show has ever even attempted to do what we do.

“We are proud to have created the most democratic way of recognizing performers, creators, and studios.”

Taking place at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, adult performer Asa Akira will serve as host, while Willo Perron will return as the co-creative director of the ceremony.

More musical performers are expected to be announced in the near future, but will they be able to turn the Pornhub Awards of 2019 into an event that we’re still discussing a year later? Only time will tell.
