Post Malone’s Posty Fest is now set to become an annual affair, with the American singer taking to social media today to announce its return.
The festival’s inaugural event kicked off last year in October, and saw the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Travis Scott, Ski Mask The Slump God and Lil Skies take to the Posty Fest stage.
Now, the New York rapper has announced the return of the event, detailing the new date for the massive festival. Malone took to Instagram yesterday, Friday July 12th, uploading the same animated devil character as last year, in a clip.
The post was simply accompanied by the words “nov 2:)) @postyfest”
Last time the artist came to Australia, he played huge shows across the country. At his Sydney show, he gave a heartfelt and “expletive-fuelled” speech.
“You know when I made ‘White Iverson’ there was a lot of people that wanted to fucking talk down to me, talk shit to me, tell me that I wasn’t going to be shit, call me every fucking name under the sun. They said I wish you’d die in fucking plane crash and that I’m a fucking dog that needs to be put down, and I’m a one-hit wonder. All that fucking bullshit.
“[They said] we’d never go fucking gold, we’d never go fucking Platinum, we’d never go fucking Diamond, we’d never play in Sydney three nights in a fucking row!” he screams.
Now, all we can do is wait to find out more about Posty Fest when it returns. Better get some cash saved for those USA flights, tickets and accom, baby!
