Powderfinger have today announced a bunch more dates and cities for their 2027 tour, as well as some massive local support acts like Violent Soho and The Living End.

On Friday,  the rock legends announced new shows in Hobart and Canberra, while also adding more dates in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. Presales for the newly announced shows go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, November 4th, before general public tickets go on sale at 11am local time on Thursday, November 5th. “When we saw how many people missed out on tickets, we knew we couldn’t leave it there,” Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning said.

“So we’re adding some final shows and we’ve been able to include dates in Hobart and Canberra, which we’re really excited about. We also have some very talented mates joining us. Thank you for keeping the faith and for being so patient. We can’t wait to see you out there.”

If that wasn’t enough, the all-Australian list of support acts have also been confirmed for the new shows, which includes Ocean Alley, Violent Soho, The Living End, Ball Park Music, John Butler Trio, Something For Kate, Thelma Plum, DMA’S, You Am I, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Preatures, The Belair Lip Bombs, Luca Brasi, Full Flower Moon Band, South Summit, Carla Geneve, Banjo Lucia and Special Features.

The support acts for the previously announced shows are still to come.
