ALPHAMAMA’s latest song ‘Ass In The Front’ is a fire track perfectly crafted to stick it to the man.

With her blend of jazz, hip-hop and soul, ALPHAMAMA is attacking society’s materialistic and consumerist ways. ‘Ass In The Front’ makes the point that, rather than drawing attention to the world’s larger issues, governments and corporations are instead using it to distract us from them.

The music video for this hard-hitting choon is just a touch crude, with ALPHAMAMA adopting a male persona in an effort to open up our eyes to the world’s absurdity.

“My alter-ego Dar’el Daw’on features in this clip as the classic misogynistic rapper the industry loves so much but instead we’re using our sexuality to make people aware of some of the crazy things happening in our world. This clip features footage of the Australian Condamine river on fire as methane gas continues to bubble up out of the water and its believed that it is caused by coal seam gas mining.

“There’s footage of a young boy in juvenile detention in the NT being stripped and this footage has just been released recently. These are just two events happening in Australia alone and yet the majority of our population would say that Australia is damned near perfect. ”
