In the lead up to the release of Melbourne singer-songwriter Ben Abraham’s highly anticipated debut album, Sirens, on Monday, 24th November, Ben has unveiled his recent collaboration with talented Perth producer Lower Spectrum, real name Ned Beckley, a remix of the album’s lead single, ‘Speak’.

The unique and unexpected collaboration has spawned a shimmering and darkly colourful meeting point for the two artists’ disparate styles. Abraham’s ‘cinematic folk’ meshes seamlessly with Lower Spectrum’s instinct for subtle, brooding electronic textures.

The two artists met earlier this year when Abraham’s side-project, Telling with Tim Shiel, played in support of Lower Spectrum’s show at Melbourne’s famous Toff. Readers can check out the results of this singular meeting of musical minds below.
