Today Blues rocker and Aussie music legend Dallas Frasca is sharing the video to her killer single ‘Today’.
A fresh cut from her acclaimed LP Love Army, ‘Today’ was a songwriters dream – quite literally as Dallas explains. “I was so happy to stumble upon this song again. ‘Today’ was written 6 years ago at around 6am in the morning in a motel room on the road,” recounts Dallas. “I had just gone through a break up and was awoken by the anxiety of losing someone and suddenly was struck by a melody strong enough to throw me out of bed at 6am.”
Dallas snuck past her sleeping bandmates and road crew, climbed out the window, iPhone in hand and settled into a recording session on the roof. She returned to the song whilst in writing sessions for the new record. “It was too strong to not go on the record.
