‘Just Kids’ is a cruisy dose of hip hop to start your Monday off on the right vibe, courtesy of young Melbourne rapper Dimitrios. Laidback production from Arik Blum/El Perro Productions forms the jazz-infused foundations for Dimitrios to do his thing, flows dripping with a relaxed swagger as he tells a tale of a hungry kid on the come-up.
Dimitrios was one of the diverse range of eight participants selected for the recent GRID (Grass Roots Indie Development) artist development program, which provided emerging artists from Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula with the space and skills to build a sustainable career in the music industry.
