Following a six month hiatus capped by a sold-out riotous vinyl launch for their addictively manic album Sweat. Now Perth punk kids Hideous Sun Demon return with their speaker destroying single ‘Cul-De-Sac Vision’.
Having shared stages supporting artists such as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Dune Rats, the guys managed to find some time to write new music and they’re now giving us a taste of their upcoming second album Industry Connections in the form of ‘Cul-De-Sac Vision’.
The track (mixed by Stu Mckenzie of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) was recorded on Mangebong Island in the south west. The band’s frontman Dennis Ichiball explained the tracks as being about “them dumb display villages that plague WA and most other states probably. The 1970 Corridor Plan can suck my tup.” As fun and energetic as ever we cannot wait to see what they come out with in 2016.
The group will be launching the single at Mojos Bar, Fremantle on Saturday December 19 with support from Spinning Top alumni Peter Bibby & His Bottles of Confidence, The Murlocs side-project Lalic (VIC), unintelligible gutter punk lords Shit Narnia and DJ Lindsay Slohand + DJ Delicious.
Tickets available on the door for $10. Vinyls and merchandise will also be available on the night too. For more info on upcoming shows and releases pop by the band’s Facebook page.
