Featuring six striking songs, Jaguar Jonze debuts her long-awaited inaugural EP Diamonds and Liquid Gold celebrating the first 18-months of her career in music.

If you’re a fan of Australian indie rock, then the chances are good that you’re already a big fan of Jaguar Jonze. If not, with the release of her debut EP this week, you’re about to be. With her atmospheric sounds, and breezy vocals, Diamonds and Liquid Gold is sure to make its way into your playlist rotation.

Named as an ‘Artist To Watch’ by Cool Accidents as well as being a triple j Unearthed feature artist, Jonze has gracefully plunged into the world of music. With her debut performance alongside Hermitude for their Like A Version of Nirvana’s ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, Jonze delivered eloquence and master skill.

Including four previously released singles such as ‘Rabbit Hole‘, ‘Beijing Baby’, ‘You Got Left Behind’ and ‘Kill Me With Your Love’, Jonze’s EP flows with electrifying song after song, sure to get any listener ready to dance and chill.

Now with her debut EP having finally arrived, Jonze has reminisced on the journey that brought her to this moment, saying that the entire experience is a bit surreal.

“I feel like this EP is a journal to the first 18 months of Jaguar Jonze so it’s a bit eclectic in nature,” the singer-songwriter explained.

“It explores heartbreak, mental health and self-discovery and hopefully, invites people into the world I’ve spent so long creating and learning to share with no boundaries.”

While her EP isn’t set to be out until tomorrow, you can give it an early listen below. While she recently performed a round of Australian tour dates back in February, the current lockdown restrictions have left fans wondering when they’ll get a chance to hear these songs performed live.

Though a handful of U.S. dates are on the cards for September, we’ll have to wait to see when Jaguar Jonze is able to announce a handful of highly anticipated local dates.
